Keep the Sanctuary Comfortable: IT IS ACCOMPLISHED!
Thank you all so much! We not only raised the money to reach our goal, we have surpassed that goal! The new ac in the church is set to be installed either this week or next, and after that we’ll get the one ordered for the hallway. We will be back in the church well before the bishop comes for Confirmation in November.
This was a parish-wide effort, and we even received donations from visitors and parishioners who have moved away, as well as quite a few that wish to remain anonymous. We have a strong community that wants St. Cecilia to be open and accessible to all, even in the summer heat and the winter chill.
And our thanks must culminate in thanks to God, through which we each live and move and have our being. And also St. Joseph our patron for this campaign. Just as he cared for and housed the Holy Family, he keeps our St. Cecilia community housed and cared for.
